Final Fantasy Logos

Post by NMRaymond »

Hey! I've got another request that is more inquiry than request (ugh with using the same word twice). I'm looking for patterns of the Final Fantasy logos, and I knew that if I even attempted to look thru all of the forum topics - it would not work out as well as I hoped (missing more than I would find).

I've never actually played Final Fantasy myself (I lack a Playstation or any version of said game console) but the artwork has always been beautiful to me. Recently, I found a logo stitched on DeviantART, and it got me thinking about all of the logos and the potential for such stitching glory.

For the moment, I'm looking for any patterns for Final Fantasy logos, but I would love to find them in similar sizes. Let me know what you find, it would be greatly appreciated! :sonic

Okay. I downloaded some of the logo images, only a few of the ones from the series. I'm just going to post the first couple of logos to see if anyone would be willing to create some patterns. Thank you in advance! :D

Which was the one you saw on dA? It might help to know what size it was before attempting a matching pattern :)

I found some on DA and another on Tumblr. Here are the links to the completed and wip Final Fantasy logos I've found. I knew I forgot something when requesting the possible patterns. Similar sizes would be appreciated, but I know that some of the logos are not all that conducive to that particular size request.

Here are the links to the logos I've found:
http://www.deviantart.com/art/Final-Fan ... -328658468
http://www.deviantart.com/art/FFVIII-Cr ... -259155693
https://gwenstitches.tumblr.com/tagged/ ... oss-stitch
http://kairi-chan16.deviantart.com/art/ ... -303998723

I know some of them do not actually have the patterns for the finished product because tweaking was done while stitching (Final Fantasy VII and VIII), and I know that the Final Fantasy X does have a link for both a smaller and larger pattern here. I hope that information helps with the size factor. Thanks!

Right, leave it with me and I'll see what I can come up with!

Actually, I've always wanted to stitch all the logos myself and never got around to doing it! XD

I actually came on here to try and find a logo / title card pattern for FF8! It's my boyfriend's favorite out of the series and I want to make one for his birthday in september. Figured I should probably get started on one now.

OK I'm working on these now.
Quick question - what count are you wanting to use? I *highly* recommend using 22ct like rosey did with her VII and VIII ones, as you will be able to keep a LOT more detail. And knowing what count you prefer for this will help immensely in making the pattern suitable!

Here's an example of the difference, using the FFI logo. Both have been set to the same width in inches, and both set to the same amount of colours.

12" wide on 14ct

12" wide on 22ct

Obviously the 22ct one will have more stitches than the 14ct one, but I do think it's worth it. Please let me know what you prefer and I shall endeavour to fit all the requested logos to that spec! XD

Wow! Those look amazing. I usually stitch on 14ct, but I am working on my first 18ct project at the moment (a project my mom really wants in 14ct that she accidentally started on 18ct fabric) so I'm thinking I'm ready to stitch smaller.

I'm really liking the 22ct one - the detail is definitely awesome. I'm going to go with the 22ct!

Thank you so much for this! These patterns are going to be so amazing! I'm super excited. :yahoo:
