Making Christmas

My mom showed me how to stitch when I must have been 5. I remember because I know where I was living at the time. I had a cute set of little elf patterns and 14 count plastic canvas. It kept me busy for years! She would tie the thread onto the needle for me so it couldn't slip off, but she showed me how to tie down and start ends correctly.
