I'm keeping it simple this time. A cactuar keyring. Knitted. I've done the body, he's about 1.5cm by 4cm long. I think I'll make 3 more and make a pair of earrings as well.

I guess I'm stitching along...
Started this in September, but stopped less than halfway through page one.

Picked it back up haflway through May or so. Now that I can work on it at work.
Now I'm almost done with page 2.

Here's what it'll look like eventually. (I hope)

I made Moogle and Jenova's head plushies... I don't use patterns and I don't have progress shots ^^;;...
For Jenova's head, I essentially just used my head. I laid felt on my face and cut around it. I guessed at everything else. I just happened to find some little round art sponges for her brains. Yes... her brains are sponges. I hot-glued them (which is a nightmare for sponges)... then I thought I'd add a little spinal cord thing at the bottom for a good laugh.
I like to call her "Mom."

For Moogle, I just stared at my teddy bear for a long time until I figurd out how to go about making it... wasn't sure how to do the little ball thing, though so it's sort of droopy. He's made out of fleece and his wings are made of crepe-back satin. Again, no pattern. Just guessing.

This doesn't really count for the Stitch-A-Long, as I made this in 2004, but I though you guys would like to see it. It's my Moogle, based on the Moogles from Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. I used an old teddy for the base, which I tore up and sewed back together in the shape I wanted, then I covered it in felt.

You know, I've been thinking of doing something Final Fantasy related. Not from any of the core games but from one of the side games. Thing is, I haven't figured out what form exactly it might be. Hmm...

Chocobo Film Strip aka Plan B is progressing nicely, I'm very happy with it and so far my hair is still attached to my head. I chose a 11 count piece of Zweigart I got for a buck in a clearance bin, score! I like the big chunky look of it, I think it makes it look more friendly. Two down, three more to go...

All the FF crafts are looking great!! I'm progressing slowly. I've got around a third done so far. It's not big but I've got lots of stuff on the go so I'm taking my time. I shall take a progress shot in next few days and get it posted.

I'm back ! And I'm staring at my screen: these are awsome projects !! Love, love the plushies (who needs a regular bear anyway ?).
Sirith, your pattern is, well, huge. If it were me, I'll have it finished five years from now. How do you stitch so fast ?
I'm still on my amigurumi Moogle. I had an idea to make an applique instead of a 3D plushy. It migh make things easier for me, and I have just the support I wanted. My camera is full of vacation photos, so I'll be posting pictures in a few days.
It's good to b back !
