pixel mario crochet blanket (WIP)

well i guess the title says it all



half way done, unfortunately it was only going to be a kind of tester to see how it came out ( better than i thought) so its a rather small blanket, and now i have no idea how im going to make it bigger when the picture is finished.

any ideas would be appreciated

Unfortunately i have trouble with keeping crochet straight when I do it.

To make a pixel larger just increase your square size you are using in your pattern by the same amount in height and width. So for example, if you stitched 1 inch square as a pixel you could turn that into a 2 inch square.

yer i am planning on doing that for the next blanket, but this one was just the tester to see how it came out.

so im after big border ideas to make up the size of this one at the moment.

I don't do crochet but maybe you could go back through the game for ideas that are crochet-able (like clouds or the ground)

its really easy to do, im just using single crochet which is the simpliest and first stitch you learn when crocheting.

most of my crochet stuff i make up and learn the stitches off the internet, ive been only doing it about a year and a bit now.

it is really fun and you can make some awsome blankets and toys etc.

ive just picked this one up again as i had to stop to make a tardis blanket for a friend.

nearly finished the mario part
