Pikmin Mug
My dad loves pikmin. When we first got it for the Gamecube, he was addicted to it and got really into it. Now, as anyone who has playe this game knows, pikmin are mighty stupid, and controlling them properly can be a might frustrating. At one point, my dad was digging up a ship part and a bulborb came over and started eating his pikmin. Instaed of stopping the digging to deal with the enemy, he just shouted at the screen, "The faster you dig, the less of you die!" We all thought it was hilarious, so recently I made him this mug for Christmas. I didn't actually make the mug, just painted it, but I think that's good enough.

Wow! I love it, your painting is so neat! If you don't mind me asking, how did you get it so detailed? Especially the lettering on the back! I love the colours you used.

Re: Pikmin Mug
Thanks! I'm happy with the way it turned out.
I just used a small paintbrush. I stencilled on the pattern and then filled in the colours. Not too difficult, just time consuming.

Umm, not sure. I made it at a little art center where you paint pottery called the Clay Cafe. You can paint all sorts of things like plates, mugs, picture frames, little figrines, Christmas ornaments, or just blank tiles. You pay one price that buys the piece and all the paint you use. I don't remember what paint they have there, but it's pottery paint, so when they fire your piece in the kiln to finish it, the paint doesn't come off.
