Hey guys! I've never posted anything on this board before because I started my first project from the Sprite Stitch patterns almost two years ago (when I first found this site) and I finally finished two weeks ago! I call it my Super Mega Punchout Project and it measures about 12" by 28". It has approx. 80,000 stitches and I'm pretty sure I'm never going to try and tackle a project like this ever again. I hope you guys like it and thanks to johloh for making and posting these awesome patterns!

Totally freaking awesome! Incredibly impressive first project, it looks really well stitched. I adored Punch-Out and I can still remember how excited I was the first time I beat Super Macho Man. I don't think I ever actually beat Tyson until I was in college. I even went out to ebay back then and bought a copy of Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream - it's still sitting in my parents' basement I am sure.

What are you plans for the project now? Framing and hanging in a place of great honor I assume!
Current Projects: Legend of Zelda Magnet Set, Mario Kart coasters (50% done - Mario and Peach finished, Yoshi and Luigi or Toad pending)
Finished Projects: Assorted Coasters, Mega Man 2 Robot Master Magnets, Angry Birds Magnets

um. wow. this is the project I always wanted to do, but never tackled. that was my first pattern! If you scroll back in the blogs it was the first post back in 2007. That idea was what got me started on the blog and really why the site was created in the first place.

too awesome. finishing the orange on piston honda made me hate life, I can only imagine how ruthless it was to finish all of these.

I'm stunned. great work!!!

that is amazing work! how long did it take you to do each square?
Cats are awesome, just not when you are cross stitching.
