I like the idea of gridding the canvas. That sort of strategy always got me through art class.
So, like in the case of Edward, are you painting over the grid with white? Or how are you hiding the grid in areas where its finished, like on most of edwards face?

Yes, the whole canvas will be painted with no bare spots. I just did a quick coat of white paint on his face because I try to work on it every couple days and wasn't in the mood for anything too intricate. It'll probably take a couple coats of white to hide all of the lines.

Finally got of my butt and finished some unfinished paintings.
Completed the Mario Bros. set.

My wife got me a sweater designed by Tokidoki of Marvel Chibi characters. The tag had a bunch of cute images so I had to paint them.

There was another one of the Silver Surfer being chased by a Great White that I'll get around to painting sooner or later! lol

Your paintings are phenomenal!

The gridding is a great idea. That would make it so that even I could paint (If only I could draw a straight line..lol)

I swear even with a ruler I have problems doing that. My lines tend to increase or decrease in angle as I draw them.

Great work once again!
