Breathing's Warcraft Maps - WIP

Post by Psychotter »

I should probably start by pointing out that I am the worst at finishing projects. I actually made the patterns for these all the way back in 2014, bought the fabric and a load of thread for the first one - and then stopped. For three years.

I actually manage to make a start on it at the beginning of last year, but then stopped again thanks to various reasons. Now, I really want to pick it up again, and my New Year's resolution is to do at least an hour of work on it a day, if I can. Hence why I'm finally posting it on here, so I can share my progress and (hopefully) stay motivated to post regular updates!

Photo of progress so far at the bottom (A4 pattern folder for scale, this thing is HUGE). Also, the original artwork is here!

Aiming for weekly updates, but no promises!

I totally understand you, I'm the same way, but you should totally finish this one. It looks awesome! How did you get the idea to do that btw?

That is looking SO cool! Have fun working on it!

(and I'm with you...I seem to have a hard time finishing projects...I don't seem to have a problem with starting new ones, though :P)

I'm with all y'all. Finishing projects is a chore! (I keep saying "I'll finish all my WIPs this year" and don't haha)
But seriously. This is already looking so awesome, and doesn't *seem* to be too fiddly with odd stitches. SO! If I was you, I'd binge some media content while ploughing through the big chunks of colour :D

Please update us!

Fairly sure it was a post on here of one of his other artworks, tbh - can't really remember, it was so long ago. I was already poking around with PCStitch and decided to see if I could make these. Made the patterns but did nothing with them (think I shared them for a pattern request at one point, but that was it!)

I recently discovered Critical Role. It's SO GOOD for stitching to :D

Great progress already! Good luck with your new year's resolution. We'll cheer you on and keep you motivated!

Yes! Critical role is amazing! Hopefully the two campaigns will last you for a while.
