funkymonkey's bead things!

Post by funkymonkey »

I've recently gotten really into perler sprites. A nice break between big stitching projects :)

Here's some of my recent ones:

How discernible are the different bead colors with the lights off?

The picture is pretty accurate; you can tell the pink and yellow apart easily but the blue blends in. It fades to a dull glow pretty quickly though; I had to take the picture right after turning off the lights to make it really bright.

Nice. I always end up picking more regular beads, because by the time I make it to the store, I forget about the patterns I've made specifically for glow-in-the-dark beads and can only remember the next normal project I have planned.

If you shine a strong light on glow-in-the-dark things, they'll glow more brightly. Just hold it up to a lamp for about a minute.

Yep, the Boo's glow! I didn't think to take a picture of them before I passed them on, though. >_<
