Ugh I feel a little silly asking this but...
Is 32 count too small for cross stitching or is that a cloth that's specific for embroidery?

If it's got holes, you can cross stitch on it! It just means the crosses will be quite small. A friend of mine used to cross stitch on a really fine linen - it made 32 count look huge lol
My advice would be to give it a go and see how you feel about cross stitching on it

Thanks! I really want to make some bookmarks but the imagines I want to use are waaayyy too wide unless I use an extremely high count.

yea you can stitch on it, would recomend maybe only using a single strand of thread so it doesnt look to bulky though
