Dr Who Exploding Tardis

Post by sonn »

hi all,

wondering if anyone could help me with a pattern request. i have attached the pic from google images that i found of the 'van gogh exploding tardis' from Dr Who s5.

I was wanting it on 14 count Aida cloth, being as big as possible and as many colours as needed to make it look the best.

If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it!

Please let me know if there is anything else i need to supply.

I have it as a poster :)

Not sure how well it would convert (its well beyond my skill level) but I would be crazy keen for a pattern as well

Here it is, as big as possible. What do you think? I can make it smaller. And I cut out the actual image without the white border and "Doctor Who" at the bottom. Is that what you wanted?

Wow ...that is huge! Am I right in reading the finished product will be over 2m by 1.5m?? Maybe that may be a little big. Would be awesome to do though. I will see if I can get material that size but just in case, are you able to do a smaller version as well. Say width = 100cm, height = whatever the height is proportionate at.

thanks so much for that! Am sure it looks super cool!

The programs the pictures are put through to make the patterns ALWAYS mess up the size! If I've measured it correctly, it'll be 33x21", or 83x53cm give or take on 14ct aida, so still pretty big, but not monstrous!

Could this image be made a tad bit smaller ... even to consolidate some of the colors making it look "smoother" would still make the image interesting to look at!

This is huuuge!

So yes, if someone could make a smaller pattern I'd be very pleased because it's really too big for me ! :D

I agree can someone please work on a slightly smaller version of this! It would make an amazing birthday present for my husband, but I'm afraid at its current size, he may have to wait at least 10 years to get it. Thank you so much!
