Sprite Stitch Board!

Hi everyone,

I've navigated the forum for a while now and found some amazing patterns to add to my (already way too long ) to do list. Even with that, I still find things I want to stitch without pattern! I came across this image and wanted to stitch it for my best friend but I can't find a good pattern and even if it doesn't seem to be a difficult image to pattern, I can't seem to get it right.
Can someone make a pattern for me? It would greatly appreciated

as for the dimension, 15cm x 15cm so roughly 6in by 6 in ? and 10 colors would be perfect, I like the simple design of the picture. If more colors are needed, I trust the maker ^^ (for anything needed actually XD )

You haven't mention the fabric count...
So here it is something I just put real quick without any retouching.
Provide me more details and tell me what do you like from the rough version I attached here>
18 count fabric
21 cm x 21 cm (150w X 149h Stitches)
17 DMC colors

oh yes, I forgot the count, sorry!!
I only have aida 14 count fabric at the moment, so let's go with that .
From the version you provided (thank you very much for replying so quickly by the way!!) I like the shiny blue thingies being the same shape, if possible (every adaptation I've seen transform them into weird square shapes...)
Again, if the image needs to be bigger or anything to make the pattern better, I trust you!
(can you tell I'm a a technical noob in cross stitching ? XD )

oh and the colors are great, I just don't necessarily need a lot of shading, if not needed (like the little ducky, I don't think we need more than one yellow and one orange for the feet for example ) I hope I make sens, I'm sorry if it is too vague...

In my opinion the colors from my version seem to be a little pale. Is it really ok with you? I can replace them with more „pick-ish” ones.

it's true, it seems a little lack luster when it is not the source image, I haven't thought about that!
