My fiance just turned 30. As a surprise, I made Mario themed sugar cookies with icing. Bullet Bill, Bob-omb, Chain Chomp, Cheep-Cheep, Boo, Yoshi eggs, mushrooms, stars, questions blocks, POW blocks, and coins. Needless to say, they were a HUGE hit with everyone! Plus they were absolutely delicious

So my plan for this challenge had to be put aside due to family drama...(so over it)...so instead you can have my Zelda cake for my entry. My planned cake was amazing. I've uploaded my hand drawn plan too.

This is my first contribution to SpriteStitch, but the challenge was too tempting to resist. When I saw video game food, I thought of the most voracious eater I know: Pacman.

Because the original sprites were a little small, I designed my own, larger sprites for the two main characters and pellets. The rest are original ideas I created for this project.

I know I already put one in, but here's two more!

1. After I stitched the tamagotchis and their food, I thought the cake looked a little like...well the cake from portal.
So I stitched it in colour as a sort of Tamagotchi/Portal mashup...

WHAPOW! The white box actually contains a hidden glow in the dark mini cake icon. Because there really was a cake.

That is great! There must me some mutual brain waves going on here... because I was just posting how cool of an August challenge that exact thing would be!
