I think you'd better get used to the idea of sitting on someone's shelf and staring, unblinking, at the wall for days at a time.

I've messed around in photoshop trying to use patterns, masks, brushes, etc to try and get a nice 3d stitched effect at a decent resolution, and failed miserably.

maybe someone can take a shot at it?

The last image was slightly wrong. Some of the pixels weren't the right size, and the colours weren't solid. I fixed it:

I personally like the way it looks now, I think making it cross stitched would look a bit odd...

Out of interest, what other merchandise are you planning to get?
