JAN-FEB Challenge - vote for the best idea!

Post by blackmageheart »

This was a good one. Some really nice and creative interpretations of the clues you were given!
Sadly some people couldn't finish and others haven't submitted their ideas at all. But I will list the entries, and the clues that go with them. Then all you gotta do is vote for what you feel is the best interpretation of the clues! Also, if anyone wants to have a guess at the games the clues originally represented, that would be good too! :D

The clues with no submitted entries were:
- Deep roots and unfolding fronds provide companionship, wisdom, and safe harbor from mortality incarnate.
- Small samurai must save the dessert world from giant rabbits, ghouls, and dancing mice.
- He struck repeatedly, to no avail; the fowl beast's summoned allies already darkened the sky.
- Now in a strange place with amnesia and a green thumb.
- 3rd rocks intent

Feel free to have a guess at these ones!

And I have a message from BooChocoBoom, who has been ill / busy with work so couldn't enter.
BooChocoBoom wrote:My clue had been "Third rock's intent" and MY intention had been to have three thwomps and mario....the first two having already come down, the third dressed as Luigi with a little dream balloon near his head of a flattened mario and mario on the ground going "Luigi?!".
Think that about covers everything! Vote will be up for a week :D

This is the toughest vote yet... I think we ought to get three votes every challenge (though that still wouldn't be enough for this month)!

I wouldn't mind 2 votes, since there were 2 I loved. Maybe over a certain # of entries, we get an extra vote? Either way, great job everyone!

Yes, congratulations are definitely in order! Also - isn't this the first embroidery piece to win a monthly challenge?
