Which quilt should we send to the PA dinner auction?
So here is the layout for this year. I am finishing them off this week and shipping one of them out on Monday. So which one should I send? The other quilt will get auctioned off with the chance of you being able to bid on it.
Quilt 1
Quilt 2
I can't wait to show you guys the final quilts. I am so excited they are turning out even better than I could have expected. You have contributed some amazing squares and the fabric you picked is PERFECT!

I can't wait to see them either!
Man, I keep going back and forth which one we should send. I honestly have no idea, as they both are amazing. Might take me a whole day to decide! lol

I Know!!!!
Normally I think, oh this one would appeal to more people and bring more money so that is the one we should send, or I think Oooooo, this would appeal to us and we need to send the other one so we can bid on this, but this year I CAN'T DECIDE WHICH I LIKE BETTER!!

Is this what happened with the second quilt from last year (2013)? Or was it sold in a Con or something? I'm just curious because I was hoping to bid on it, but I thought it was never posted on the forums or something.tnitnetny wrote: The other quilt will get auctioned off with the chance of you being able to bid on it.
Thanks.

Re: Which quilt should we send to the PA dinner auction?
Each year I have given the forums a chance to bid on it.
2 years ago it was on Ebay. Last year we held a silent auction open to everyone. It worked by people sending me emails with their bids and I would update them on my website. Then the quilt was auctioned at a convention with the starting bid of the highest silent auction bid. The quilt did not receive any bids at the convention and it was sold to the silent auction bidder (who is a sprite stitch member).

Oh really? I guess I totally missed it then... :/ I'll make sure to keep an eye out for it this year then. Did you announce it in a post or was it (or going to be) on the main page? I'd like to bid this time, not that I have any money at the moment but I'd at least try!
