So I just about killed myself getting it done in time (between the swap and the challenge it was a heavy 2 months of stitching!) but this is my entry for the inanimate objects challenge: the golden statue from super metroid. It was cool to have a chance to use the shiny floss for the eye jewels but MAN was it a pain use (tough to get it through the needle and constantly catching as it goes through the canvas). There are also two different shades of brown but you can't really tell. Oh well! I'm realizing that I technically started it at the end of August, but it was only about 1% done (you can see how much in the WIP shot in my other thread) so if that disqualifies me, no worries!

That is AWESOME. Anything Super Metroid generally is, imo. :D

Thanks, It is about 45cm long, pretty much full size.
