Interestingly my 2 absolute favorites were Pokemon. Well, it may not be the kind of thing I'd stitch or have up on my walls ever, but they sure do make for some nice designs.

My number one pick! Doesn't look like Pokemon, just a very nice pattern that could be a pack of animals scattering (had no idea it was Pokemon at first), loved it the moment I saw it.

Image

Certainly more recognizable, even without the detail of the character. What I like is that it reminds me of the show (I seen a few episodes plus the first movie) when they asked that very question, "Who's that Pokemon!" Its charming in a very childish way, and different enough from the usual as this is the only one I've seen cross-stitched like this.

I also liked the Blue Spikey Koopa Shell, as well as the Punch-Out bookmark. There were a few others I found interesting (the gasmask, the Fire Flower that looks like a smiley face, Samus' visor, question block, the Bioshock girl), just not quite my taste, yet some, such as the Fire Flower, Question Block and Samus' visor were among the few that had the smallest elements yet I recognized them for what they were, so were perhaps the best when it came to minimalizing. So shouldn't I have picked two of those instead? 'shrugs', eh, all in good fun. What's one's flavor may not be another's. And mine certainly didn't qualify under favorites for me, at least not as far as this challenge went, but it was my first time minimalizing something, perhaps next time I'll have a better grasp at it. I guess I did alright, my first three are okay enough that I like them, ugh, but should've stopped there, I really hate that Bayou Billy hand (its not very often that I cringe at my own choice of work). But it was good fun doing something totally different, kept me interested as well as curious as to what others would stitch, glad it happened and that I was here to participate.

Congrats, gamerwolff! Yours was very well done.

This was my challenge, and my goal was to get a vote, and I accomplished that. Thanks to the people who voted for me. It was stiff competition this time around. Perhaps I'll have to enter another one. :D
