That is so relieving. Thanks, Toni! I'm so glad it made it there in time.tnitnetny wrote:I thought I posted the squares I got while at my parents in Md but I may not have. Received the square from Laurel and the two squares from Jade.
When I got home to Canada yesterday two squares were waiting for me, the one from IzzyXIII and Shrinkingviolet.
& Thank you, La Ptite Bete & Sherona! My boyfriend was flailing over your Shrine of Azura square last week, hehe.
And mushiva2000, your stitches are so neat and uniform, wow. I hope it gets there soon as well!

I don't know yet La Ptite. I have them all in a pile at the moment. I will count them and decide how to separate them after Sept 1.

Re: Charity Quilt 2013 - Finished Squares
I just counted 37 finished squares in this thread. (I may be off by one or two.) That's awesome! I'm toying with the idea of making a big image of all of them...La Ptite Bete wrote: I can't wait to see all these squares together...

Thanks, shrinkingviolet and La Ptite Bete!
Actually, I took photos of the square obsessively like licking it with lens.
Because it's no more with me after posting.
It took about 9 months to finish it. I suppose I am a slow stitcher.
I really respect people who make 3 or 4 squares. It's difficult to imagine how to do that.
I also wonder how many countries the squares are from.

Ho yes, we could make a world map with all the provenances of the squares, that would be funny... The other day, as I was wandering in the "Totally Off Topic Section", I wondered if there was a website or something so that we could localize the voluntary forums members... ?

OMG I finished it! Zuma's Revenge, partially stitched by my mom and finished by me!
Sorry it's a trifle crooked, I was in such a hurry to scan it and get to the FedEx store that I didn't get it quite squared on the scan bed.

Well...finally got my Q-Bert square done. :\ I had a, roughly, three month bit there where I just didn't want to stitch anything and I feel bad for not getting it done in time. But! I'll have it done for the next round here in a couple of months. LOL!
Here it is complete.
