So on top of it being a fantastic sampler with the most awesome borders in the business, that's also a heck of a square-on photo. You sure that isn't CG?

Seriously, great looking in every way :D I haven't been able to follow as much lately due to a busy irl schedule but I'm catching up. All the different samplers turned out great I think we can call the SAL a big success.

Full credit goes to my scanner. I can never get camera photos to be in focus and not washed out.

The scanner idea is great! I attempted to scan mine, but it's set to come out as a pdf, and I'm not tech-savy enough to fix it. So here is my finished sampler.

I wanted to do a beaded heart in the centre, but couldn't get the beads to play nice, so used bugle beads for a border instead. I was going to do a border around the whole thing, but thought it would look a bit OTT, so left it as it was.

Love the beadwork, and the Sonic band came out real nice. It's been fun seeing what everybody picked for the 4th band.

As for my own sampler, I still haven't continued past the Mario Kart band.

I only recently started the Journey band. Glad I'm not the only one going at an easy pace.

Definitely! I almost picked it as my 4th band but I thought Sonic looked cross-eyed when I looked at the finished product on KG-Chart. It actually looks nice once stitched and it definitely doesn't look like Mama Sonic married her cousin! XD
