I actually broke like 5 needles during that project...
Where there was a lot of confetti stitches, the back would be so thick it was hard to push through. They would slowly bend, and eventually snap.
Got me into the habit of carrying around spares, though. First one broke while I was at work. It was slow, so I had been stitching. About 10 stitches in, it snapped. I spent the next hour staring blankly at my stitch while waiting around for someone to call. I think I even jokingly attempted to cram the floss through the fabric without the needle. Didn't work.

Sirinth: your stitching is awsome !! It's even better when framed. I'd muche rather do Blackmageheart 's background and get bored (that's another sort of awsome stitching, by the way), that doing your "confetti stitch". I think it'd drive me mad !
