This reminds me of a puzzle...

It arrived this week and it's awesome and I love it and I have no idea who sent it, but it's amazing!

The skin colour on Layton and the cream on the logo are stitched with essentially half stitches, with the top stitch to the bottom left, with the clothes being stitched in classic cross stitch with the top stitch to the bottom right (I think, the stitching is super neat!) It really makes Layton's clothes and the logo pop! creating a really nice contrast and really making it look like a 3D image.

Yay! You finally got it! They wouldn't let me get a tracking number on it, so I had no idea when it would arrive. I got home after mailing it and discovered the note that was supposed to be in the box... I'm really bad at getting those notes in, I forgot to send one when I sent in my quilt square also...
I'm glad you like the stitching, I kept going back and forth on what looked best.
And that frame. I almost mailed the thing with just layton in a frame and the logo as a patch you could sew into something on your own, but right before I shipped I found that beautiful Sweet Heart frame at a second hand store. All my college friends are a little jealous, and they don't even play Layton

Okay, so this is what happened.

I started working on the ship before I got my swap package. Today, I secretly went home to attend my mother's wedding as a surprise.

Once the dust settled from her freaking out, I asked if I'd gotten any packages............

It wasn't technically the wrong address. Don't worry I'm just sorry I couldn't post the stuff earlier! I love the little magnets! They can stick right on the wall of my cabin on the ship because they're made of metal
