Generally people stitch sprites in a 1 to 1 ratio, meaning one pixel per stitch. This makes small sprites nice and easy to sew. To view them bigger, you can use some sort of graphics software to zoom in, or even Paint (on a PC). The easiest way to do that is to take a screen shot of the page and then paste it in Paint, and zoom in to 400% or 800%. If you prefer, you can import the small picture into stitching software like KG-Chart. There are lots of threads about it here, like this one: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=475
