What is a ghost's favorite time of day??
Boo o'Clock.
This is my second ever cross-stitch. It's 14 count black Aida cloth on the cheapest clock I could find at Wal-mart. Originally each number was going to have a Boo, like a Circling Boo Buddy from Mario World, but... uh.... after killing my hands making ONE Boo, I decided to simplify things a bit. (I'm new at this, and so slow! Also, the glass panel of the clock isn't on in this picture, as it created a glare.)

*gasp* LOVE!! that seems like a lot of work, replacing the insides of the clock. but AWESOME JOB!! the tiny roman numerals just add to the cuteness/awesomeness

This is an awesome clock! I really like the lil numerals, they're a great touch and make the stitching easier to do but it looks so much more effective!
I have made my own clock in the past, out of a canvas (which I painted stripes on) and a recycled clock mechanism, but I have always wanted to cross stitch one. I did wonder if you could just use any clock housing, now I know you can - thanks!
Great job~

Oh yes, it was super simple to make! It was a "Mainstays Wall Clock", the Walmart brand... comes in silver and black, and has screws on the back to take the clock part off the frame. Then I just gently pulled the hands off (they pop on and off easily with no harm), painted them white, and used some scotch tape to stick my embroidery to the back, just to make sure it stayed. Then you put the screws back on, and viola! Easy!
