A sprite stitch banner project 10 years in the making
Hello!
10 years ago, I asked BlackMageHeart to convert a pattern I made for a sprite stitch banner project. I'm not sure where the old banners are now, but banners for the site were images that meld with cross stitch portions, with "Sprite Stitch" done in the game's font.
I. HAVE. FINISHED. IT!

HOLY CRAP I was literally thinking about this a couple of days ago! It looks SO GOOD, you merged the images perfectly!

Dragon Force, a sort of tactical RPG for Sega Saturn. I love that game so much, so when Cerity had that idea I HAD to help!
I've stitched a couple of things from Dragon Force before, but I might even make one of my next projects from this game because it has loads to work with, not just these cute small characters but manga/anime style scenes too

Oh interesting! I've heard of the game, but didn't know anything about it past its name (I was/am a fan of the band Dragonforce, so when I saw that there was a game with the same name, it caught my eye). That seems like I would be a fan of the game too, I like the look of it, and I like tactical RPGs. Hmm, maybe I need to find a Saturn emulator...

I remember when I first heard of the band, maybe in 2003/4, I was like "did they name themselves after the game?"
It's a fun game, almost relaxing in a way (and much of the soundtrack is very good for relaxing to!) but then there's the intensity of the battles and planning where you're going to send your units and stuff. It is easily one of the best games the Saturn has to offer, so if you get the chance, do try it!
There are some decent Saturn emus out there, despite emulation being notoriously awkward! I have Yaba Sanshiro on my phone and I use a multi-platform emu on my PC called Mednafen (it's a bit complex to set up but once you do it's great)
