FireKraken stitches some things

Post by FireKraken »

Hi everyone! I wanted to add a spot where I can share all the projects I work on from the amazing patterns on this site. I already have way too many saved that I'm eager to start.

I completed my first cross stitch from sprite stitch recently. Thank you so much Awenmir for the pattern!

One project down and time to start the next! I just bought all the colors for a Breath of the Wild Link pattern that I will be starting soon. My other current projects include the epic pokemon gen 1 pattern, a hufflepuff bookmark, and a dinosaur pattern. Hopefully those will be added here soon!

Finished a Hufflepuff bookmark to go along with the Hufflepuff themed blanket. These were a gift to my friend who loves reading as much as me and has lots of House pride. I'm a Ravenclaw myself, so we share in the struggle to find House related goods. I might be making myself a bookmark soon too.

The pattern for the crest was from Mountain Harmony Creations posted on the-leaky-cauldron.org

The flag was modified from an image I found on Google

The lettering was by eye. I never realized how evil "A" is when cross stitching.

I completed another project over the weekend!

While it's not a video game pattern, I am really happy to say I've finished this pattern and wanted to share it with all of you. This was the first kit I bought for myself 9 years ago. I've worked on it off and on over that time, two years ago finishing the cross stitches and dreading the back stitches and French knots (not as afraid of those anymore). I was cleaning up last weekend and saw this project, so close to completion. I sat down and finished up the last bit of the pattern. The back stitching really made it come to life. It feels so nice to see it finished. Now to find it a frame.

Thanks everyone!

I just celebrated my second anniversary with my husband, so I wanted to stitch something for him.

He loves dinosaurs, so it was the perfect choice. He enjoyed it and is now looking for a frame for it. Thank you spinuntilyoufall for the pattern!
