Sarah's Stitching. Current: Epic Pokemon #2

Post by braxyBRAX »

So I started this ages ago, then scrapped what I'd done (which was about a quarter of the first page, top left corner). This time I've started from the bottom left, and I'm also just over halfway through watching Pokemon: Indigo League.

Confession: I've never actually played Pokemon. I'm thinking of getting a simulator on my phone. What game should I start with?

Anyway, onwards to the WIP photos. Also, I'm thinking of adding a border to it - after seeing another's (can't think who right now), I'm thinking maybe a single stitch border in a darker blue, then a thicker border in a lighter blue?

Thanks guys! I have some more progress which I'll post soon. I'm feeling a bit iffy on the colours right now, but that's probably because I'm watching the show and haven't seen Bulbasaur in game yet so what I have to go off of is a bit eh haha.

I'm playing Ruby Red via emulator on my phone right now. Finally caught pikachu! Chose Charmander as my starter and he's evolved to Charizard :]

Started working on the disney princess pattern found in this thread viewtopic.php?f=5&t=15670

As well as working on another pokemon cross stitch. Currently doing squirtle. The shadow looks too purple and the highlights too light so I may have to change a colour.. will see

I'm taking a break from those 2 to work on a portal 2 cross stitch for my coworkers 18th. I'll be sharing the pattern likely on the weekend.

This is about 3 hours work. I love how quickly it's going and will be designing a team rocket motto cross stitch at some point. I'll be doing it from scratch though :) this one's I googled an image and went from there as I don't have enough time. Birthday is in about 4 weeks.
