how is the grid system working for you? i have been trying to figure out if i should venture into that system.......
I love using the grid system big and small projects! I use grids on larger projects just to make sure i get the right amount of aida cut ad kinda like a progress thing "oooh i've done X number blocks out of X number of blocks on this page!" I know i sound crazy!
I also use it on smaller projects that have a lot of detail and confetti stitching like this one im working on too. It just helps make sure the stitches are in the right place because im not that good at counting spaces, i always seem to count it wrong lol.

thanks
you're doing awesome on the second project too!!
i just watched some videos on youtube about parking and grinding .....i am really interested i just worry i would be discouraged not seeing things come together. like right now I'm working on a mountain but i could be bored in twenty minutes and move off to do a forest or a tree. working square by square it would take forever to see shapes and designs i believe but i do do do love this concept.
Sometimes it can be a little discouraging but you know in your head if you plough your way through it then at the end it will look amazing.
Another way of working with a grid system is doing one colour at a time on each page and again the grid will make sure your stitches are in the right places i just get bored with doing one colour for ages.
