Re: ZELDA - 3ft by 3ft light world map -- UPDATED APRIL 9TH
so i discovered my new place of work (a craft/fabric shop) carries one bolt of 14 count aida in white. . . . hmmm . . . wishin i knew that before i started this one in four parts. though i doubt i really could've managed working on a piece that was 3ft by 3 ft of 14count aida. but it leaves me with the thought of perhaps doing the bottom two squares (or far right top and bottom) as one ... then it would be two squares and a rectangle. any who its just a thought. i also started the first square on oatmeal coloured aida and even if the canvas is 100% covered i would still know they aren't all the same. but i would love some opinions please!!

It's looking so good!
The bolt is a nice find, but stick to your original plan! Even when aida is completely covered it still shows through in just the tiniest way! The white panel would look a bit brighter than the oatmeal panels and it would drive you nuts! (And my thought is to keep the uniformity of four equal panels. You'll see that seam, even if it's very small, so you'd want it to be symmetrical, right? But that's personal preference.)

great thinking! didn't even register the idea of brightness of canvas and I'm a symmetry junky so everything must match thanks for helping me out. i needed someone else to say don't do itThe bolt is a nice find, but stick to your original plan!
