I ADORE THIS!! I especially love that you used the Super Mario Allstars version with the gradient colours instead of just the flat pink from the NES version.
Can I ask where you nabbed the sprite or whatever reference you used? I've got a couple sources for great sprites (and have figured out a decent process for blowing them up for easier patterns without pixelation making things muddy, but haven't been able to find a good Birdo as of yet. I might have others that you'd be interested in though, let me know if you're looking for anything!

Thanks for the compliments! Yeah, definitely had to go with the super-shaded version.
I used The Spriter's Resource for Birdo, and for most of my perler projects. They're pretty comprehensive.

Now to take all that those different pink flosses, since Birdo used up hardly any, and try to use it for a Peach sprite! I'm doing a "Whatever" subversive x-stitch pattern, and she would be an awesome addition to it. Perhaps something from Super Princess Peach from the same website, though those sprites are pretty tall.
