Question time! :)
Did you make the design yourself?
How do you attach the plastic canvas to the background paper?
I love the smell of melted perler beads in the morning

I did not make the pattern, stitchingmama was kind enough to make it for me, the pattern is in the thread here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=14648

I really just put regular tape behind it to hold it, the thickness of the plastic canvas plus a piece of cardboard behind the background paper made the frame tight enough when closed that I don't think it's going anywhere.

Oh ok. stitchingmama must be the kindest.

Yeah of course, I didn't think about that. The plastic canvas + threads + everything will be thicker than a regular piece of paper or a photo so it will be pressed up the glass anyway.

Well very nice work! :clapping:

Just completed another Digimon, Holydramon. Usually when I do these stitches I do the outer white border first, but this one was an absolute nightmare. I missed a stitch TWICE and both times was far past the mistake before I noticed. So twice I had to pull out a large portion of the outline. Twice. But I think it turned out pretty good in the end. :D

Didn't get to see the Digimon stuff last time I post, Wi-Fi was too slow at loading the pictures then, but saw the blog, Hououmon, Plesiomon, Holydramon, all really sweet, awesomemons. Definitely a welcome change from all the Pokémon.

I love(d) Digimon. Honestly, I watched their anime more than the Pokemon one. Although they kinda lost me after the second generation of the Digi-Destined (Davis and all them). I started getting a bit older and it didn't seem like the same thing anymore. I did go see the movie in theaters and got a special holo-card. Woo!

Now, I really wanna stitch up some Digimon. :D

Thanks Starrley! I definitely blinked a few times seeing my stitchings on the blog, lol. I'm really glad everyone likes them, it's a lot of fun.

I've got more in the works  and I'll make sure to post them here.

I understand what you mean, as a kid I watched Digimon long after I lost interest in Pokemon, and after the Monster Rancher ended. I lost interest in Digimon in the third season (Tamers). However, since all the seasons of Digimon are being released on DVD I've bought them all. Seasons one and two were a great nostalgia trip for me, but I was surprised at liking Tamers quite a bit despite being bored by it as a kid, and season four which I didn't even give a chance at all blew me away. I expected to hate it and was instead sad to reach the end of it. I think as an adult I can enjoy Tamers and Frontier as their own things instead of trying to smash them into the same mold as Adventure and Zero Two. I'm excited to watch Data Squad when the DVD comes out, I know next to nothing about that show.

I guess you can tell I may be stitching Digimon for a long time. I want to get all the partner Digimon evolutions done, right now I'm focusing on season one, with plans for season two and three Digimon, maybe some other favorites as well. All the sprites I've done so far, and most of the ones I've got planned are from the Wonderswan games (Anode Tamer & Cathode Tamer, Tag Tamers, D1 Tamers, and Brave Tamer). I love their design / style more than more recent game sprites, even though the newer ones may be more detailed.
