Cross stitching a photo

Post by Rustyamnesia »

Hi everyone. Not sure if this is the right place to post this so if not I can delete it.

I have a 4x6 portrait photo that I want to turn into a cross stitch. Does anyone have any recommendations for a finished size? I've used a few programs to turn it into pattern but So far I'm looking at a finished size of around 21inches by like 20 does anyone know a size that would look good? I kind of wanted to make a smaller picture maybe an 8.5x11

If you're looking to do 21x20in finished sized that would be 53x50cm. Most cloths are labeled now-a-days. If you need a much larger cloth jo-ann's does sell table cloth aida 14 count 4x5 feet. You can cut that down to get the size you need.
Secondly, if you want to change the picture size you can do that in MS paint. IDK what the program for MAC is. Hope that helps.
