Pokemon+Nobunaga's Ambition

Has anyone been keeping up with the latest pokemon news? If you haven't, about a week ago, a crossover game was released in Japan. Nobunaga's Ambition is about taking over and unifying Feudal Japan. Add in pokemon, and you're taking over with style. Most of the character looks are based off Samurai Warriors 3. The artwork is gorgeous and best of all, they're all already sprites, so it should be easy to make patterns for them. If I can work up the nerve to do big projects, I'd definitely start with some of these. I hope this game gets localized though as crossovers games generally don't make it to English audiences.

The land you're unifying looks like Arceus. It's called the Ranse region.


You can be a boy or girl and your starter is an Eevee.

Even better is the fact that people as well as their pokemon can 'evolve'.

Same!! Just asked a buddy of mine about it, he's a nobunagas ambition freak. He said he didn't think it was coming state side..
but one can always dream!!! Those sprites look awesome!!!

I love the pokeballs worked into the armor and clothes! Too bad the characters are all the usual stereotypes, though. :/

It does look really interesting. I'm not sure if it's one of those that wont' make it state-side though... seeing as it's all based on japanese history...

i thought it might be worth a mention that it's official, it's coming out over in the US in the middle of June (lucky for you guys!) which means there should be a pretty good chance of it coming out in the UK

Even if it doesn't, you can always import it if it's on the DS. (Since they are region-free and all that.)
