I will attempt to post the pictures for this... this may require a few edits.

Where there is just water I did not feel like it was cost effective to use up a bunch of ink, so I only did rows instead of rows and columns. I also felt no need to rush ahead and spend another $15 on pens to do the entire bottom half, so it is gridded out into whole pages instead of 10x10 stitch squares. The pages of this pattern actually cover a lot of stitches. I am going to try and find a way to either blow them up or magnify them to make it a little easier to read when working. The fabric was so large that I had to come into work to utilize a conference table to do the grid markings(Also, for the free food :P ). As you can see the blue is just too pale for the water. I had no way to tell ordering on line, the description was light blue, and the store was in China, so I just risked it.

I use similar pens for my grids on my pokemon project, and the ink fades quite fast. Thats why i only grid about 1 page at a time. If i haven't worked on it in a week or so, i have to re-draw all of my lines. Hopefully yours won't fade too much, thats a ton of work drawing lines!

I saw this picture somewhere else a while ago and thought it would make such a fun cross stitch pattern. It looks amazing! But so huge... going to have to tackle lots of other projects first to get a lot better before I try this one.

I have finished my own Game of Mushroom Kingdoms. I did change couple of parts from original pattern (Pike, Storms End and King's Landing).

Here is a picture:

And a time-lapse video:

Thank you for the amazing pattern!

OMG. Eponases. I am so excited to see this finished and totally fangirling/squeeing right now. I really love this mash-up. I remember looking at your blog a few times, but I don't think I've been since June. Such a wonderful surprise to see that you have already finished it. Anyone else who loves this, should take a browse through her blogposts. The colors are even more vibrant in some of the WIP closeups. Absolutely stunning.

Amazing, Esponases! The time-lapse video was fraking awesome; it really worked out amazingly. Great work!

I was curious if you patterned your changes. Your alterations were great, I especially loved your rendition of Pike. I was interested because I'm working on this mashup myself (I put it down because of a mistake I noticed weeks ago, but I'll be picking it back up again soon-ish), and I would really like to possibly stitch your rendition of Pike with the bloopers - with your permission and possibly guidance with a grid or floss color choices. Let me know - if yes super and if no that's cool, and again, amazing work!

Found the updated Nesteros map (which you used and I found after doing some recent searching) - and I am definitely going to include the newer version of Pike in my stitching project - I just love those bloopers! I'll just have to decide on colors and what not - unless I can use the existing ones from the original pattern.

I've been working on my project recently, but I haven't taken a new progress photo. I had to rip out a section before I started stitching again, but I've got a good rhythm going so far.

I know this is an old thread but does anyone have a pattern link to the updated version of Pike, etc? Would like to include those Bloopers as well.
