I came across Makibird and there are patterns on there from the first gen card artwork. Does anyone know how they are made with the colour count so low and still able to have that detail in it?

Re: Pokemon Card Pattern
They are sprites from the Pokemon Trading Card Game for Game Boy Colour. They are easy enough to find online, eg there are some from the first game here - http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Ca ... GB_sprites
There was also a sequel game with different art, if you are interested in that as well.
Hope that helps.
