Picard Quilt
It's killing me to not be able to share this quilt on my blog, etc so I thought I'd share it with you. I've been keeping it quiet because it's a wedding present for a friend who is very into Star Trek TNG. Here are a couple of progress shots. I'm about half done the quilt top (there will be two more panels the size of these two pieces put together above and one below).

Looks great! I love how neat your joins are between the pixels.

Re: Picard Quilt
This is amazing. I can't wait to see it finished. What a detailed quilt! What patience! How big is it going to be? I'm also a huge TNG fan, and I would love such a present!

Re: Picard Quilt
Thanks guys! The last quilt I did like this was Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory and it took about 6 months. I'm hoping this one will be done in under 4 especially since the wedding is in August. I have been working on it for 2 months thus far. It should end up being Queen size so essentially HUGE!

Re: Picard Quilt
Here are a couple more pics of it spread out over my queen sized bed. It will be plenty big as you can see. (I probably should have made the bed first but there's a cranky looking cat whose nap time I have already disturbed). The first pic is the two pieces I posted earlier but sewn together and then the next one is all 4 pieces sewn together. It's getting big!

I can't imagine how time consuming this must be, but the result is definitely worth it!
