Time for some 3 week progress - more sky, and getting ready to do the rainbow (I am really excited about it because it is stitched with the colored floss and a sparkly floss!)

I have heard back from the manufacturer about the thread that was incorrect in the kit, and they are going to send me the thread I need :) I was really happy with how quickly they got back to me, and it will be nice to fill in the empty spots when I get the new color.

So I feel like I have been making pretty good progress so far, especially with having my little one-year-old going everywhere and getting into everything, cooking and housework to do, not to mention playing Skyward Sword (I am on the first trial, and I get so panicky! Lol). Yet, even if I keep up the pace I have been going, this will still take me over 6 months to finish! This is most definitely the biggest project I have ever attempted, but I am really enjoying myself, and I am making enough progress to keep me interested. This forum helps, too, to see all of the incredible pieces everyone has done!

Anyway, I will post again next week with another update!

Hey! I gotta confess... I ran out and bought the same cross stitch kit as soon as I saw yours! I'm IN LOVE with it. I love it.

Four week update:
So, I haven't gotten nearly as much done on this during this week as I wanted to - Zelda Skyward Sword has taken over my free time, and it is turning out to be a pretty long game (so fun though!). Anyway, I was able to get more sky (suprise, suprise!) filled in and do the rainbow, which is super fun. The stitches so far in the main part of what I have done that aren't filled in are the color that I am waiting on, which should be coming in the mail any day now. Here is my small progress this week:

Well I did add to my project list after all. My Mom gave me a 50% coupon for Joann's and I bought the Cinderella kit from the Disney Dreams Collection. In the meantime, I will watch your progress. The colors in the sky really are so pretty.

Five Weeks this week! I was able to get (I feel) a good amount done this week. Of course, MORE sky, but now you can see some of the outline for the castle! I also got my missing color in from the manufacturer, so I was able to fill in quite a few spots that were empty. Still loving this, and now that I only have the final boss left to beat on Skyward Sword, I have lots more time to work on it (although my young one does take up a lot of time :D ). Oh! And you can see some of the sparkles on the rainbow in this picture :)

Also, I am so excited that other people have gotten these kits, too! Feel totally free to post any other WIP pictures on this thread if you are doing Beauty and the Beast - it's fun to do a project with someone else!

Six Weeks:
I know things might not seeeeeeem to be going very fast, and that mostly all I am doing is a lot of sky, but I can really see the progress. I am really only able to work on this project after my daughter goes to bed at night and my 'chores' are done, so I usually get about 6-10 hours of stitching time per week in. This week I tried to get a lot of the little bits of stitches filled in, and of course, worked on more sky. I kind of feel that since the sky is the more boring part of this, I might as well do a bunch of it while I am still super motivated. Then when I start to lose interest I will still have the fun parts to keep me going. Anyway, here is the picture this week:
