monkeypeaches wrote:Ooooooo glitter paint would be brilliant! I haven't used a foam roller yet, but if I do I'll let you know! And vice versa :) I'm going to try dying my fabric with Rit next time though just because the painting does seem to be so inconsistent.
I tried painting with the roller! Protip - make sure the paint's mixed properly. xD
It worked pretty well - very quick saturation, and is really even. AND SO FAST
My paint wasn't mixed properly, but the project I want it for will suit the clouded look, so it'll be very suitable. :)
There's glitter paint in this - the glitter paint I used was really pale and kinda see through, that's why I mised it with the blue it's turned out as.
it's turning out well - I haven't set the paint yet though. It's REALLY glittery - definetly an front and back side! Should be interesting to see how well the glitter holds when it's set.

It's really wet in this pic, so the glitter isn't showing at all, but it's SHINY now.

Also - My cousin received the sampler and singlet I made for my new cousin! he's ~8-10 weeks old in this pic.

I've done something with the aida! ..apart from set it, lol.
it's turned out super sparkly, and the glitter doesn't flake off, which is a fear I had. So, yay!
