I've been busy lately making things for everybody else (beginning to think I should make something for myself for a change!!!) and thought I'd share what I've done.
It was my Wedding Anniversary last weekend and I made hubby this Barn Owl that I framed for him with a slate picture frame. Barn Owls are a running theme for us so it had a special meaning.

That barn owl is achingly beautiful. They're all grand - I love how sharp and colorful the butterfly card is, and the way you attached it; I love how the balloons pop out of the card; the keyring is simple and sweet - but the barn owl really sticks with me. Did you make the pattern?
Mostly hibernating here. Find me on Twitter @rmdcade.

Thanks RMDC - I wish I had made the pattern but it's out of one of the Cross Stitch magazines that litter my house! I am thinking of trying to create a pattern of a Barn Owl flying directly towards you but I'm still getting my head round it at the moment as I'm not an "arty" person so most things come out looking like a 3 year old's attempts!
I was really pleased with how the balloon card came out as I had an image in my mind of what I wanted to achieve when I started out and this came pretty close in the end.
