Another long hiatus, again with my life sized cube. this time: i stuffed it with speakers, painted it, and it looks nice. once it's done, my goal is to get on Kotaku! or maybe even sell it on Etsy. it sounds great, too!
image is large, despite it being grainy:
Better image soon!

that's awesome! make sure you post it in the "speak up" section of kotaku. it's more easily found there than elsewhere.! I know from experience! hehe

Covered up, being painted!
Internals are ugly :<
Would anyone buy this knowing how bad the insides look, or would it matter since it's going to be sealed up? need opinions!

you might want to clean up wiring the inside (shorten them!), and make a hole at the bottom of the cube so the speaker can point out of it.. so it won't dampen the sound.
If your gonna sale it, make it better and charge more for it! you want the sound quality to match the appearance right?
but even if you don't, you could still sale it. =-)

I'm gonna buy mesh covers for where the small side speakers are, i have thinned out the foam on the sides and bottom for better sound through the speakers, though the whole thing is a giant base amp XD
Volume control and all is poking out the side, but i can clean up the wiring, and re-soldering some stuff. once im FINALLY done with the external! :3
