Mario Crochet Blanket

At long last I have finished my first crochet video game piece. Its mostly single crochet, except for the top and bottom of the navy boarder. They have double crochet in them, which I realized towards the end is much quicker to do and has a lighter feeling to it. I experimented with how I sewed the pieces together to. I think slip stitch gives a cleaner finish than sewing them, although sewing is much quicker.
Hope you like it.

Check out you tube then and get your crochet hook and wool/yarn out!!! Give yourself the evening and plenty of rewinds and you'll be doing it!! That's what I did!!

awesome project, cute kid too!

I have two unfinished granny square crochet blankets in bags under my bed. ugh. I think they might be impossible to finish, good to see that it is possible!

I did Luigi, as promised. I mapped out each piece on graph paper and made him in segments, instead of a bunch of little squares like you did. I think I will do little squares next time! It was too hard doing it my way. Check out "Return of Luigi" in misc. craft projects!
