hi
being new to this place, i thought i'd share some little things i've been experimenting with. i got a new seed bead loom and realised i could use then to make 8-bit style jewellery.
pac man

and space invaders.
i'm thinking of branching out into pokemon

and other video game sprites. would love any and all suggestions and advice on new designs

Holy cow, I was going to go buy a loom and some beads and try my luck after my last class today, but I chickened out after I realized I didn't know anything about seed beads, like if you can even do this sort of thing with them. It appears that it's possible. Thank you for enlightening me in such a timely manner!
And those are awesome! Have you done this before?

Thanks for the appreciation guys!

These two are the 3rd and 4th items i have ever made using a bead loom.
I figured that designing patterns would be not much different to designing for cross-stitch items.
The bigger trouble is that the patterns have to be quite small as a bead loom is not that big.
Where you can do 100x100 squares using a cross stitch, a bead loom limits me to something like 12 x 12 squares maximum...

just in time for valentine's day, i made this to go around a candle for decoration for valentine's day, based on gamer hearts - turned out a lot better than i thought....
