Hello everyone! My name is Lindsay (A.K.A. The Crafty Duck) and I am a long time reader, first time poster. I craft in many mediums, but my favorites by far are crochet and fuse beads - especially if it means I can bring my favorite guilty & geeky pleasures to life!

I was lucky enough to receive The Legend of Zelda box set anime / manga for Christmas and wanted to make a little pouch to protect them in my bag as I have been planning on reading them on the bus to and from work. So I thought I would have my first go at a fair isle style crochet Link sprite, and this is the end result... :Link

It isn't perfect, but I am still pretty happy with how it turned out. I think next time I try crochet sprites, I might do it on a larger scale so each "pixel" lines up a bit better. :tri

What a great idea to make a book bag :) My books/magazines always get folded pages when I carry them around a lot :glare:

May I ask what kind of crochet stitch you used? I can't really tell from the picture and I heard Tunisian crochet is supposed to be quite good for sprites.

Of course! I have just used single crochet for the front and sides, and double for the back. I haven't tried Tunisian crochet before, so I will have to give it a go next time. Thank you
