Hey there! I've been starting to get back into sewing plushies for fun, so I thought I'd take a stab at my favorite pokemon, Misdreavus! I started with a little one (~12 cm) and then made a huge, cuddly one (~28 cm)!

Just for fun, here's some of the in-progress pics:

Testing the initial shape and stuff. I haven't done much in the way of making plushies for over 2 years now, so I wasn't really confident in my abilities to make shapes well. They turned out alright, though!

In the middle of development~ Most of what was left here was sewing work on the outside. I decided to get rid of the purple 'caps' on her hair for the large version, sewing those directly onto the blue hair parts instead of making separate caps to sew on top of them afterward.

The finished little Misdreavus with my Metroid. Aww, they're bonding! XD
Next up, I'm making a pair of plushies from Team Fortress 2: the Cremator's Conscience. They're still a WIP, though, and have a bit of a ways to go yet.

Feel free to leave any comments/suggestions! I feel like the big Misdreavus's eyes are too close together or something, but I do still love the final product. :) Thanks for looking!

Those plushies look great, what type of fabric are you using? In the picture it looks like terry cloth, or is it felt?

I use fleece for makin' plushies. I try to get non-pill fleece so it doesn't lose fuzziness. It works well and is a lot stretchier and softer than felt. I'd definitely suggest checking it out! :D

Hey, all! Since I finally gave them to my girlfriend for Christmas, here was my last project! They're the 'Cremator's Conscience' misc. item from Team Fortress 2. (An in-game image is in the top right.)

full-size

Like the Misdreavus, these were both made with non-pill fleece. The straps are nylon with little metal buckles, which are removable and adjustable if one should want to wear them like the Pyro does in-game. They're about 9-10 inches tall, I believe.

As always, thanks for looking! I've got a couple more plushies in the works, so I'll share those when they're done, too!

I'm super jealous of how good you are at this. I'm going to have to have a go at plushie making - thanks for the progress pics!

Thanks! If you want some pointers and/or potential intro projects, a friend of mine has a site up with that very content!

Metroid Hat

I could also answer questions if any should arise, though I'm not nearly as experienced as she or others are!
