Hand painted video game plates

I painted these plates last year to make a set. I had a lot of fun painting them. I am afraid to use them so I haven't yet! haha
Well almost all of them are sideways. I tried flipping them but it didn't work for some reason. Sorry..

How did you "finish" them - did they have to be glazed and fired, or just a specific kind of paint?

Thank you! The pokemon is my favorite. They were glazed and fired.

What a cute way to design your own dishes. I love them! Especially the Mario and Pokemon ones!
