Super Geeky Halo themed Groom's cake

So my sister got married a few weeks ago and a long, long time ago I said I'd make her fiancé a groom's cake. I also said that it was more likely to be a Cake Wreak than something that looked pro (I am not a baker). We cycled through a few ideas but settled on a "space" theme. I wanted to use toys instead of trying to make decorations... because I knew that would be a disaster.
Luckily the boy in question had played a lot of Halo while in college so I went out and bought a few toys :)
In the end, it came out looking (and tasting!) good. Let me know what you think fellow video game nerds!
I think the road-kill grunt made it all worthwhile!
