I've been trying to get brave enough to post these, but hell, it's what I do and what led me here, so here you go
I've got myself hooked on making little pixel art charms by stitching 2mm seed beads together. I love making these little guys, slowly watching the image coming together, and I'm usually pretty pleased with the outcome. I use strong nylon thread instead of jewelry wire, which means that the finished items have a wonderful flexability and softness to them, rather than being rigid. I started attaching them to little phone charm lanyards, just to give them a purpose!
Here are some of my favourite ones to make:
Recently I had a go at turning some space invaders into earrings, and - IMHO - they worked pretty well. Also pictured are some blocker Lemmings:
Problem is, I have a rather short attention span. And while I love making new ones and starting new designs, I can't stick with a big project. I used to think I was running out of nice small designs to do, but then I came here! Now I have a huge list of ideas
Update: Thought I'd add some more pictures of the earrings I've been making lately. Some folks on Etsy even liked a couple enough to buy them! =D
Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde:

Some 1ups:

Coming up with small patterns is tough though, so I'm now starting a new project turning them into fridge magnets. I hope to have a fridge of Space Invaders battling it out very soon!
