Sprite Stitch Board!

Inspired by dvdwojnar's posts of her adorable Metroid plushes inspired me to make a plushie and a metroid hat. My brother liked the results so much, I'm currently teaching him how to sew a plushie!

It was a great pattern, I'm glad you shared it. My brother, who never showed an interest in sewing in his life, begged me all weekend to teach him. Since then he's been browsing the site going, "You can do that? That is sooo cool!"

I think I made a stitching convert out of him. And it's all because of the metroid.

Yeah, these little guys seem to have a quality for attracting fresh talent to sewing. It was my first project too; I was probably as anxious to try them out as your brother sounds, and once school let up for a bit, I just dove in. And... I've never come out!

wish i could sew. i really want one of these the Metroid craze will never end. ive entered it full time now, most of my crafts are metroid related. even my birthday cake i baked today was of a morph ball
