Sprite Stitch Board!

hello everyone,
Before I started trying cross stitching, I made pixel art projects out of thumbtacks I colored with sharpie markers. I just thought I'd share the one I did for my wall. I decided to make it monocrhome-ish rather than just having all sorts of colors up on the boards. It was originally suppose to be 12 pieces, and will be eventually, but I figured I'd qualify that in case anyone was wondering why megaman's square is the only gray one.

I figured out how to use the spoilers thingie so I'm gonna go ahead and post a handful of other thumbtack dudes I've done.

Those look awesome! Now is your monitor see through or did you just take a pic of what would normally be covered up by it? I like the effect.

Hehe, no it's not see through. It's kind of a pain to get the effect just right. Even after about 10 pics I couldnt get one to line up 'just right', but yeah you just take a pic of what would normally be behind the monitor. You can do it with just about anything, and it gives you that cool see through effect. If anyone is wanting to try it I recommend taking several pictures before putting your monitor back in place.
