Pokemon Quilt

Post by samarin »

So, after making an amigurimi (sp) for linkismyhomeboy as part of the swap, i kinda fell in love with crochet. So, i learnt how to make granny squares. And i am putting them together in pokemon shape. First one is a request for a tyrunt from my boyfriend. I have 3 rows mostly attached, and the 4th one almost done being made. Its a good craft because i can work on it on my breaks and lunch and dont have to worry about a pattern, and a bunch of supplies. grab a ball, a hook and my travel scissors, and i am good to go.

progress is going to be pretty slow on this since i pretty much work on it at work only. so i get about 4 squares done per shift, and since work hasn't been calling for the past week, i haven't gotten any work done on it :S

How's the quilt coming along?

How did you decide on how big to make the quilt using the squares?

i havent worked in it in quite a while, been working on my charity squares on my lunches. i didn't really have an overall size planned, just made the squares and saw how big it turned out. each "pixel" is about 2 inches, so i can figure out my future projects from there.
